Lifehacker has a very interesting article on top 10 ways to sleep smarter and better. In these days when I always feel I can use some more sleep, this article brings some good techniques. My problem is not that I don’t get sleep, but I feel I need more 🙂 6 hours should be enough for the body, but then I don’t feel it’s enough!

How much do you sleep? And how do you keep at your best with 6 hours of sleep?

  1. At my worst, i sleep around 8 hours. At my best, it’s 6 – 7.

    I tend to find that the less i sleep, the better i feel when waking up (it also tends to give me a sense of accomplishment). The longer i sleep (particularly if i have a lie in as well), the worser i feel when waking up.

    All things considered, i suspect that the secret to keeping at your best when sleeping 6 hours or less hours is to embrace napping.

  2. On lucky days I get my 8 hours of sleep, which I feel is sufficient – anymore and I tend to be sick all day. Bad times I may get only 4 hours of sleep which kind of take a toll on me after about 12 hours of waking up. I can’t nap because I tend to go into deep slumber very soon. but a few moments of eyes closed rest is good for the mind.
