It’s hard vs. It’s new!

In a meeting today morning we were discussing about how we have notions and judgments about everything. And how that makes it difficult to talk to someone or do something.

E.g. many people have a notion that they can not speak in public. This opinion, becomes the truth for them, and they never speak in public. In reality, it’s just an opinion!

I was thinking about this and realized there are so many things in my life that I think are hard to achieve. That will take a lot of efforts. But then something else happened!

What if I replace “hard” with “new” in my thinking. Instead of thinking this is hard, how about thinking that this is new?

And that caused a major shift! Made me feel much lighter and gave me a lot more power to deal with the situations!

What would happen to you, if you replace “hard” with “new”?

Sounds interesting. I am going to make a mental note and see if I can adopt it over the next few weeks in my life and then report back on the difference it has made.

Many people out there recalls the proverb ‘Even the word IMPOSSIBLE says “I’m Possible”….’
But I found very few actually living with it and you are one of those few. I always try to implement many of your tips in my day to day life. But I really forget it when panic. (but its the actual time when I should implement it)
The only solution I got to overcome is to keep reading you blog daily. :) Thanx for sharing such a wonderful thoughts.

I usually take tough-looking things as the first thing of the thing I will love to do. I started this during first year of my B.Sc(IT) and we’d to give seminar. I took it as the first time of the thing I’ll love to do and today I love to talk around in college and give best talks in college.

There is a well-known saying: “What the eyes fear, the hands do.” Never think that you won’t be able to do something, just do it and you will see the result.
