Learning presentations from Bill Gates and Steve Jobs
Garr made an interesting post on Presentation Zen, Learning from Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. This post will certainly be helpful to many friends who will be presenting at foss.in!
There are quite a few interesting points in there, and I recommend reading the whole post. And also watching the videos. But here are some key thoughts:
- Bullets don’t work!
- Tell a story
- Use clear, large visuals
- Be relaxed
- Don’t turn your back to the audience
- Use emotions
- Use clear language

One difference between them Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, is Steve Jobs hates corporate uniforms and Bill Gates always uses it.
You can notice that in their every presentation especially a new product release.

I hope “Bullets don’t work” is limited to presentation and not blog posts
