Hey there everyone, where to start… this whole event was a blast and it was lovely to get to know some of you fine folks. Already the flickr group for the event is filling up with many amazing photos, namely from Nirav, Kapil, Naveen, Prem and Bharat.

As Nirav and Kapil already know, I have a huge task ahead of me in sorting out and then doing a bit of post processing on the shots I have taken. I hope to get my photos ready by Friday and some might just get uploaded before that.

I just want to thank the team behind the Mumbai Photography Marathon and all the participants for making it such a wonderful outing and a memorable one at that. Thanks all!

Hey Sunny: Don’t miss the next photo marathon. Looking at the response we got, we may be doing one in winter season!

Kapil, Prem: I am not sure if colors are also a result of my Mac. Mac has a different Gamma setting, and when I see photos in iPhoto, they look more vibrant than when I look them up here. So not sure…

I captured a sweet.. memorable and romantic moment of the couple on their first engagement anniversary. Nirav sir proposing Nikita in front of the Gateway of India. I have uploaded this picture on Flickr but only members I have authorized as “Friends” in Flickr can view it. Nirav, Kapil can check it in my album.

Yes guys I did some basic retouch on my photos before uploading. As I told u people those post processing are done in Picasa like tint, satiration & some glow also. Bordering was done by GIMP. Picasa is so far the easiest photo editing software I have come across.

Great collection. Man this makes a really competative one. i have seen photos from some you., and those are great.

Especially collection here, an attempt to get a bit of every thing. that awesome. Well done guys/gals good work.

Only thing is that i missed all the fun. still i feel very much part of the event by looking at each and every photo that is being posted anywhere.

Wow, that’s a good collection there. I could manage to upload only some of the good shots last night. I think I will spend some time over this week to share the other photos with a complete story on the day’s happenings.

Meanwhile I was looking at your photos and browsed through Prem’s photos also. Although you both were using the same camera – there is so much of a color difference. Some of his shots had such beautiful colors. And I was wondering if there was a lot of re-touching done on it. Prem, maybe you can enlighten us a bit on this.
