Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina is devastating the New Orleans life, this reminds me of two things.
One, the flood situation in Mumbai a month ago. It was the highest rains in Mumbai for the century and it hit the city bad. Thousands were affected, many swept away, many homeless, many were stranded for days. A lot of MagNeteers stayed in the office or with colleagues who were staying nearby.

The second thing that I remember, is the Sydney Sheldon book Are You Afraid of the Dark. The story was about controlling weather – creating storms and hurricanes using a machine. It was quite an interesting read – and the ideas was scary!
I wish Katrina does not affect more!
